{I went out for dinner tonight and really really really wanted pizza, it’s not really kosher with my plan for better health so I tried to find a more healthy pizza. I ordered a fresh Salmon pizza. Let’s just say, the only cheese Salmon should ever be paired with, is cream.. mozzarella cheese and salmon is gross.

This weekend Cory (my second shooter) and I drove down to Wilson Michigan to create the wedding images for Sarah and Chris.  It was quite the drive, but a good one.   The town we stayed in near Wilson is called Escanaba, it’s a small place with a super nice community of really great people.   Here are some of the images from the wedding day. Sarah and Chris opted to do a first meeting down on the water before the ceremony, and then said some vows and right into the photo session.

September 8, 2009 - 8:58 pm Hagit - Did I ever tell you I love Tuesdays? Not gonna lie been checking your page every hour since I came home from work. Something so tender and sweet about these shots. :)

September 8, 2009 - 9:03 pm Ngoc - Okay, how cute are those kids in the photos??? So adorable! I'm noticing your editing is a bit more "antique" looking. It's quite nice. I love how luminous, romantic, and soft your photos are, yet the colors can still vibrant (ie: bride in the forest). I don't think I've mentioned this before, but my favorite photos from you almost always involve the colors green or blue. That ring shot is beyond awesome! L.O.V.E. the color and how crisp and sleep everything looks.

September 8, 2009 - 9:03 pm Olivia - Oh man the 16th image with him looking and her half facing him and them holding each other really does it for me. Great work as always John.

September 8, 2009 - 9:04 pm Eugene - Beautiful set! It looks like it was an amazing wedding. But how the heck did you get so close to that deer?!?

September 8, 2009 - 9:06 pm Jessica - I love how the gentleman's ring reflects the scenery in the jewelry photo. Have you perfected capturing diamonds from face up yet?

September 8, 2009 - 9:24 pm Ben Rutledge - This is actually my favourite wedding shoot of yours that I've seen to date. This is likely due to my love of forests but even on their own merits they're great shots. Keep it up dude!

September 9, 2009 - 2:46 am jenny f. - I love these wedding shots....they come across as simple, not gimmicky, which I appreciate....I guess it's because they're set in the country. I especially like the walk to the lake, and the rings and the forest shots. Isn't that beautiful creature a fawn? Beautiful photos, John!

September 9, 2009 - 6:33 am Mandi - John, some more beautiful wedding photography from you like always. This couple looks lovely and very happy, and you captured it. GJ.
